Christian Reformed Church
The Christian Reformed Church in North America was established in 1857 by Dutch immigrants who sought a more confessionally strict expression of the Reformed faith. The CRC is guided by the Three Forms of Unity (Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort) and holds to Reformed covenant theology. It operates a network of Christian schools and Calvin University, and has engaged in significant debate over social issues in recent years.
